Little and Large!

Now we have Old and New girls laying eggs the egg-skelter looks decidedly odd!

The very first Baby Egg turned out to be a double yolker. That reminded me that we had lots of doubles in the first season with the Rangers. Looks like more to come - no doubt they'll get bigger soon.

Fantastic! One of my girls gave me s little double yolker too but ours eggs are much more pale lemony yellow than yours. What makes yolks colour I wonder?

Hi Mrs Bok - as I understand it's connected to eating grass or greens. Ours have cabbage or chard every day and go onto a bit of grass that they are gradually reducing in size! It looks like yours have grass though. I don't know why they are paler?
