Baby eggs!

Aunty Amber laid the one on the top left. She lays the smallest of the Big Girls' eggs. The little one top right was laid today and looks like a pigeon's egg! We know from experience they will get bigger and darker but they look so sweet when they first begin laying. Ahh!

Has peace been restored and is Topaz behaving herself now?

Peaceful 99% of the day Bilbo. It's mainly when I throw in greens or their bit of corn and grit at night that we get beakicuffs. I have taken to giving them their corn when they are ranging on their little 'field' and it's less fraught. More space to spread it!

Many Thanks for taking the time to blog, I have been inspired to give keeping chickens a go thanks to your great blog. We went for 3 ex bats and they are wonderful, I really enjoy spending time with them and they are providing us with free range eggs, please keep up the good work I have really learnt alot from your blog xx
